FBI-UAP-D002, FD-1057, Unresolved UAP Report, Colorado Springs, 2022
▮ AI SYNOPSIS · Sonnet 4.6
FBI FD-1057 dated July 2024, produced by FBI special agents and an Operational Projects Unit forensic artist at 26 Federal Plaza, New York. The document records a forensic sketch interview conducted to generate a digital artistic reconstruction of a UAP sighting. The witness, a former U.S. Army intelligence officer, reported that in February — year partially redacted — at approximately 11:25 a.m., he and four colleagues observed an unidentified aerial object over Cheyenne Mountain near Colorado Springs, Colorado. The object was described as potato-shaped, creamy-white opalescent, somewhat translucent, and covered in irregular, non-overlapping articulating panels that moved in slow waves. After roughly two minutes, the object disappeared instantaneously.
Notable features include the military background of the witness and the presence of four corroborating observers, though their statements are not included in this record. Heavy redactions remove names, dates of birth, contact information, and the incident year. The FBI's use of a forensic artist unit typically reserved for criminal investigations is unusual in this context. The document is classified as an unresolved UAP report, with no analysis or conclusion appended.

On February
at approximately 11:25 am,
a former U.S. Army intelligence
officer, along with four other members of his unit, observed a UAP over
the Cheyenne Mountains as they exited their office building.
described the day as the perfect "blue bird" sky as there were no clouds,
little humidity, with a temperature of approximately 50 degrees
Fahrenheit.
The object was "potato" shaped with distinct edges and appeared to
look painted in a creamy/whitish opalescent color. It was somewhat
translucent with a slight shimmer. The object was made up of what can
best be described as articulating fish scales or panels that were non-
symmetrical, non-overlapping, and irregular shaped. The object itself was
perfectly still but each panel on the object shifted in slow waves
starting at different points of origin but at the same time.
After approximately two minutes, the object vanished.
specifically stated that the object "cloaked" in the space of time it
took to turn a head and there was no shadow.
and initial sketch draft are attached. Forensic artist
will relay additional sketch drafts through SA
to
in order to complete the final sketch product.
