FBI-UAP-D001, FD-302, Unresolved UAP Report,ย Colorado Springs, 2022ย

▮ AI SYNOPSIS · Sonnet 4.6

This is an FBI FD-302 interview summary, entered April 2025, documenting a March 2025 interview conducted via Microsoft Teams by two FBI agents with a U.S. Army soldier. The incident occurred on a workday in early February 2022, around 1:00โ€“2:00 PM, at Fort Carson, Colorado Springs, Colorado. The soldier and four fellow unit members observed a stationary, matte white, bean-shaped object hovering over a saddle in Cheyenne Mountain for approximately 3โ€“5 minutes. The object was described as non-metallic, oval with a curved bottom indentation, and covered in an intersecting ridge or line pattern forming an abstract polygon design. It produced no sound and disappeared when the witnesses briefly looked away. None had a phone available; all five later independently drew consistent sketches of the object.

The document is notable because five military witnesses corroborated the sighting independently through drawings. All names of witnesses and agents are redacted. The soldier reported being contacted by AARO in early 2024 but stated he was never formally interviewed until this FBI session; the FBI notes AARO has since initiated follow-up interviews. No explanation or resolution is recorded. The report remains officially unresolved.

Redactions present in this record. Black bars protect identities of eyewitnesses, locations of facilities, or non-UAP-related sensitive material.

None of the five men had a phone on them They all simultaneously looked away momentarily to decide to have one of them go back to the vehicle to get a phone to take a video. When they looked back the object had vanished. They searched the western skyline but were not able find the object again. They were all confused what they should do next, They got together afterwards to discuss what they had seen. They wondered if they had seen a UAP, and went through the alternatives it could have been, such as a blimp or a weather balloon. Each of them independently drew what they remembered the object to look like, and then they compared their drawings afterwards. All of the drawings were consistent in showing a horizontal, white, "bean-shaped" object with abstract lines crossing on it. believed that made an official report to the army about their observation. stated he was contacted by AARO in early 2024 about their observation.
